We also installed the latest 'state-of-the-art' LED lighting throughout the store, changed the doors on their existing refrigerated cabinets and increased them by 7.5 metres. By utilising our 'know-how' and experience we able to reduce their total energy consumption and cost by 53%. We returned last year to re-design the counter to include a front display, more packing space for customers and increased storage. This year we have completely re-fitted their spirits section and installed Italian LED lights.

Well established within the local community we have worked with this 2800 sq. ft. Londis store 3 times. An award-winning shop with a loyal customer base, we undertook a complete refurbishment 5 years ago. This involved everything from initial consultation and planning right through to designing and building bespoke shelving, refrigeration and A/C, bespoke fittings and lighting. Prior to the refurbishment they had 11 refrigeration condensing units and 4 air conditioning/heat pump condensing units. We removed 9 of the units and replaced them with 2 integrated refrigeration and air conditioning systems driven by the latest inverter driven technology. Whilst they provide cooling to the refrigerated cabinets, they also enable rejected heat to be re-distributed across the shop floor at the same time, at no extra cost.

We first met Dewan & Jayshree Vadar in 2015 when they ran a small convenience store in Ellistown, Leicestershire. They had been thinking about expanding and in 2016 bought a public house that had closed down in the village. It was a big project resulting in 6 residential units and a 2000 sq.ft retail unit. Over the next 12 months we worked alongside them, from initial conception right through to completion when the shop opened its doors in March 2017. We discussed the project, timescales and objective whilst understanding local demographics to tailor the store for their customer base.
As the building was of historical interest it was important to keep the façade. Inside we created a bespoke, contemporary design and advised on everything from planning, lighting, refrigeration and displays right through to positioning the power sockets and choosing the colour scheme. Their previous store had one chiller and one fridge. The new refurbished store features 9 chillers and 6 freezers. By installing the latest range of heating and cooling systems with advanced energy saving technology we were able to substantially reduce their energy bill pro rata. We also installed the latest in LED lighting from Italy.

This Budgens store in Guilford undertook a large building extension 12 months ago, increasing the size from a 600sq ft store to the 2000 sq. ft store it is today. We have been working with the owner for the last month and were proud to see the store open on Friday 29th March 2019. We started with an empty shell and created detailed drawings of how the store would look and operate before proceeding with the work. We covered every aspect of the store development including ceilings, floors, bespoke joinery and the installation of 8 integrated refrigeration and air conditioning systems powered by the latest inverter technology. We installed 'state-of-the-art' LED lighting to enhance store ambience and present the produce in the best possible light. The client was delighted we worked to schedule and was able to open the doors to the public within a few weeks. He has already recommended us to one of his relatives who we look forward to working with too.

Following the completion of a large extension to the shop we asked Nick to provide us with a complete shopfitting service. We were working to a tight deadline and were keen to open at the end of March 2019. From the moment I met with Nick I had complete confidence in his knowledge and ability to get the job done! He looked after every detail, large and small and took care of all the work needed to be done. He delivered on his promise and just under 4 weeks later I proudly opened the doors. This new development has just been built on the site and features an 1800 sq.ft. retail unit serving hot food, convenience groceries and much more. We worked on this development for 3-4 weeks prior to the opening in April 2019. Working with an empty shell, we installed 9 refrigeration units, 3 air conditioning units, a kitchen area to service the hot food, all lighting, flooring and ceilings along with a new counter and till area.
